Kilburn Park gates
Designed by Material in collaboration with Maarten de Reus. Two metre high stainless-steel letterforms create a fence and gates to the new park entrance on the busy Kilburn High Road. Tautological in nature, the gates ‘tell it like it is’. After dark, the letters are lit by L.E.D groundlights specially developed by Material for this installation. Due for opening in November 2004.
